Awaken Coach Institute: MCC in Community Membership Agreement
Welcome to the MCC in Community program at Awaken Coach Institute. This agreement outlines the policies, expectations, and commitments associated with your participation in this program. Please read carefully before signing.
Program Overview
The MCC in Community Membership is a five-month rolling access program. It is designed for experienced PCC-level coaches preparing to apply for their MCC credential. The program provides:
-
One 90-minute Group Mentor Coaching session per month
-
One 90-minute Group Supervision session per month
-
One 2-hour Observed Coaching Triad session per month
-
Access to all regular Awaken monthly community events, including Skills Deepening sessions, Business Masterminds, and Connection Circles
This is Awaken’s MCC Mentor Coaching Community Membership offering. It does not include access to a formal MCC certification process. However, if you choose to upgrade to the full MCC in Community Certification Path—which includes both this membership and the in-person retreat in Goa—your membership investment will be deducted from the total certification fee.
The purpose of this program is to help you refine your coaching mastery, grow your confidence in recording MCC-level sessions, and progress toward a complete ICF credentialing application.
Participation Requirements
Participants are expected to attend all three core monthly sessions and engage actively. To count toward the ICF’s 10 hours of mentor coaching (including the 3 hours of 1:1 mentor coaching), full participation is required. You will be responsible for scheduling your 1:1 sessions with an MCC coach.
If you miss a group mentor coaching, supervision, or observed coaching triad session, you may book a private 1:1 makeup session with an MCC coach at a rate of $150/hour in order to receive credit toward your ICF credential requirements.
Observed coaching sessions are peer-to-peer, with observation and feedback provided by a credentialed MCC coach. These are intended as both developmental and supportive spaces. You are encouraged to use these sessions to grow in confidence and may choose to use them to complete one of your MCC recordings.

The cost of the 5-month MCC in Community Membership is $2,500 (or $500/month for five months).

Recordings & Confidentiality
Sessions may be recorded for internal use and ICF audit purposes. Participants may request in writing for their video not to be used beyond those purposes.
All observed coaching is treated as confidential and used only within the scope of learning and feedback. Participants may also use recordings from observed coaching sessions for their ICF MCC credential application, provided that explicit consent is obtained from the client or peer being recorded.

Withdrawal from the program must be submitted in writing. No refunds are issued, but your participation may be paused or deferred to a future MCC in Community Membership start date with prior approval. Transfers do not apply to other Awaken offerings.
Code of Conduct
All participants are expected to uphold the ICF Code of Ethics and contribute to a respectful, generative community space. We ask that you show up with kindness, honesty, and a commitment to listening deeply. This is a space where we practice accepting each other without judgment, fixing, or analysis—meeting each other coach to coach, human to human.
Awaken reserves the right to remove any participant demonstrating unethical or disruptive behaviour.
Grievance Process
We are committed to a fair and open process for resolving concerns. Please first approach the individual directly. If resolution is not possible, you may escalate by emailing Christi Byerly, Director of Training, at christi@awakencoaching.com.

Community Acknowledgement
This is more than a program. It is a community founded on the values of love, bravery, trust, and belonging. By joining, you agree to co-create a space where coaching mastery is not pursued in isolation, but in relationship—with each other, and with the deeper purpose that brought you here.
By continuing with this purchase, you confirm your understanding and acceptance of these terms.
