Participant Enrollment Agreement
This is your Participant Enrollment Agreement. It contains the policies and procedures governing your participation in Remembering the Great Love, including program terms, payment, and cancellation policies.
Please review this document carefully before signing. By signing, you are agreeing to the policies of Awaken Coach Institute and Awaken Coaching, LLC as outlined below.
The Program
Remembering the Great Love is a twelve-month journey of spiritual transformation for up to nine women, led by Christi Byerly, MCC, founder of Awaken Coach Institute and author of Holy Rebellion.
The program begins with a five-day residential retreat at a former Cognac estate in Yviers, Charente, southwestern France (September 24–29, 2026), and continues across twelve months with the following:
- Five-day residential retreat, Yviers, France, September 24–29, 2026
- Eleven monthly group witnessing circles
- Up to ten 1:1 coaching sessions with Christi Byerly, MCC
- WhatsApp access to Christi across the year
- Weekly journal prompts and daily practice guides
Investment and Payments
The full investment for Remembering the Great Love is €10,300 EUR / $12,000 USD for the complete twelve-month program, including the France retreat.
Payment Plan
Payment plans are available at no additional cost. The standard payment plan is structured as follows:
- Deposit: €2,350 / $2,600 due on enrollment
- Payment 2: €1,000 / $1,200 due August 1, 2026
- Payment 3: €1,000 / $1,200 due September 1, 2026
- Payments 4–13: ten monthly payments of €595 / $700, beginning October 1, 2026
Threshold Session Credit
If you have completed a Threshold Session with Christi prior to enrollment, your full Threshold Session investment of €400 / $465 is credited against your deposit. This credit is applied via a personalized enrollment link issued by the Awaken team.
Invoices
Invoices are automated from our platform upon purchase. Your receipt is sent automatically at the time of each payment. Any credits or discounts are applied at the time of invoicing.
Late Payments
You will receive a reminder if your payment is declined. If a second attempt is unsuccessful, a late payment charge of $25 / €25 will be applied. An additional $25 / €25 charge will be applied if payment is not received within 30 days of the first late payment charge. If payment remains outstanding beyond that period, your access to program materials and sessions may be paused until the balance is resolved.
Cancellation and Withdrawal
Your deposit is non-refundable. It secures your place in an intimate cohort and covers committed retreat costs.
The August and September installments, together with your deposit, cover the full cost of the residential retreat in France. These payments are refundable if you submit written notice of withdrawal before August 1, 2026.
If you are unable to attend the retreat but wish to remain in the program, or if you withdraw before September 1, 2026, you may request that your August and September installment payments be transferred as credit toward Threshold Sessions with Christi. Transfer requests must be submitted in writing to communitycare@awakencoaching.com by September 1, 2026. Transfers are at Awaken’s discretion and subject to Christi’s availability. Payments made after September 1, 2026 are non-refundable.
If you need to withdraw after the retreat has taken place, your remaining monthly payments will cease and we will work with you to find the most gracious path forward.
The Threshold Session is a complete experience in its own right and is not included in any refund.
Program Viability
Remembering the Great Love requires a minimum of six confirmed participants to run. We are committed to being transparent with you about this from the outset.
In the event that the minimum enrollment is not reached, all Remembering the Great Love payments will be refunded in full. The Threshold Session investment is not included in this refund.
We will communicate clearly and promptly if the minimum number is not reached, and will honor every commitment made to you with the same care we bring to everything at Awaken.
Awaken Cancellations
In the unlikely event that Awaken Coaching, LLC must cancel the program or retreat due to circumstances beyond our control, every effort will be made to find an alternative. If that is not possible, you will receive a full refund of all Remembering the Great Love payments made.
Written Notice
Written notice of withdrawal must be sent by email to communitycare@awakencoaching.com. Notice is effective on the date received.
Retreat Participation Terms
The France retreat is an essential component of Remembering the Great Love. Because it involves international travel and collaboration with an external venue, the following additional terms apply to the retreat portion of the program.
1. Physical Readiness and Wellbeing
We invite you to take honest, gentle care in assessing whether you feel physically able to participate in the travel and retreat experience. If you have questions about what the retreat involves, you are welcome to reach out before enrolling. Awaken Coach Institute and the retreat venue do not offer medical guidance; you are best placed to understand your own needs, limitations, and circumstances.
2. Staying Reachable During the Retreat
To help us care for the group and respond to any needs that arise, we ask that you remain reachable by phone during your time in France, using the number you have shared with us. Please ensure your phone can operate on European mobile networks as well as WiFi.
3. Travel Arrangements
- Please take care of all required travel documents, including passports, visas, and any identification needed for international travel.
- Where possible, we strongly recommend booking refundable or flexible fare tickets. Before booking any non-refundable travel, please confirm with us that the minimum number of participants has been reached.
- If you experience delays or unexpected challenges with your journey, please let us know. We will do what we can to help.
- Awaken Coach Institute cannot accept responsibility for transport delays of any kind, including missed connections or additional expenses that may arise from them.
- Program fees do not include flights, visas, personal transport, or travel expenses unless explicitly stated. Transfers from Chalais train station are included, along with all meals and accommodation for your stay.
4. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance covering the full duration of your journey, including illness, injury, cancellation, and curtailment, is required as a condition of participation. By signing this agreement, you confirm that you will have adequate travel insurance in place before making any travel arrangements. You agree not to make claims against Awaken Coach Institute or the retreat venue for losses arising from insufficient or absent travel insurance. Please review your policy carefully so you understand what is covered.
5. Food and Accommodation
- You will stay in accommodation at the retreat estate. Full details of room arrangements will be confirmed closer to the retreat.
- All meals are prepared from local ingredients and served family-style. The retreat kitchen accommodates vegetarian, pescatarian, vegan, and gluten-free diets. We will be in touch closer to the retreat to confirm your dietary requirements. If you have additional dietary needs beyond those listed, please reach out to us in advance at communitycare@awakencoaching.com so we can ensure the venue is prepared to care for you well.
Participation and Conduct
Remembering the Great Love is an intimate container built on mutual trust, respect, and care. The following conditions apply to all participants.
Respectful Participation
Unethical or disrespectful behavior toward Christi, the Awaken team, or fellow participants is not tolerated, during or outside of program sessions. Awaken Coaching, LLC reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend or end a participant's enrollment in the program at any time should such behavior occur, without a refund if the refund deadline has passed.
Confidentiality
The witnessing circles and 1:1 sessions within this program create a space of profound trust. What is shared within the group remains within the group. Participants agree to hold in confidence the personal stories, disclosures, and experiences of all other participants and of Christi.
Copyright and Intellectual Property
By participating in Remembering the Great Love, you agree to respect all trademarks, copyrights, and confidentialities belonging to Awaken Coach Institute and Awaken Coaching, LLC. All materials, content, recordings, journal prompts, practice guides, and media shared within the program are under Copyright. They may not be reproduced, shared, adapted, repackaged, or marketed without prior written permission.
Additional Conditions
Results
Awaken Coaching, LLC is committed to creating a high-quality, deeply held program. Participation does not guarantee any particular personal outcome or transformation. You are responsible for your own engagement, practice, and results within the program.
Technology
Awaken Coach Institute works with reliable and reputable platforms for program delivery. We are not responsible for technological failures beyond our control. We will take prompt measures to address any issues that arise.
Accuracy
All program information is believed to be accurate at the time of sharing. Schedules, logistics, and program details are subject to change. Any material changes will be communicated to participants promptly.
Recordings
Group witnessing circles may be recorded for the exclusive use of participants within this closed cohort, for example to support a participant who was unable to attend a session live. Recordings will never be used outside of this circle, shared with third parties, or used for any other purpose. By signing this agreement, you agree not to share recordings, or any personal disclosures made by fellow participants, outside of this program space. What is shared within this circle remains within this circle.
Grievance Policy
Awaken Coach Institute seeks to ensure equitable treatment of every person in our community. We encourage open communication throughout the program and will address any concerns in a timely and caring manner.
- A participant shall first address their concern directly with the person with whom they have an issue, where they feel comfortable doing so.
- If a participant is unable or unwilling to resolve the issue directly, they are welcome to send an email to communitycare@awakencoaching.com at any time. The concern will be reviewed and a response provided within one week, working with all parties involved to find a resolution.
Participant Agreement
By signing this Enrollment Agreement, I acknowledge and agree to the following:
- I have read and understood this Enrollment Agreement in full.
- My place in Remembering the Great Love is subject to the payment, cancellation, and conduct terms outlined above.
- I understand that my deposit is non-refundable and that the August and September installments are refundable only if written notice of withdrawal is received before August 1, 2026. Payments made after September 1, 2026 are non-refundable.
- I understand that the program requires a minimum of six participants and that, in the event the minimum is not reached, all Remembering the Great Love payments will be refunded. The Threshold Session is not included in any refund.
- I am entering this program for my own personal transformation and growth. I take full responsibility for my own engagement, wellbeing, and experience within the program.
- I agree to hold in confidence the personal stories and experiences shared by all participants and by Christi within this program.
- I release and forever discharge Awaken Coach Institute, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives from all claims, liabilities, and losses asserted by or on behalf of me for any injury, loss, or damage resulting directly or indirectly from my participation in Remembering the Great Love.
I have carefully read, understand, and voluntarily sign this Participant Enrollment Agreement. This agreement is effective and binding upon my signature.
