Participant Enrollment Agreement

Welcome to Awakening Love and Courage in Mentor Coaching.

This agreement explains the program, our shared commitments, completion requirements, and enrolment policies. Please read it carefully before enrolling.

1. Program Details

Time: 4:00–6:00 p.m. Paris time (CET)
Total education: 15 hours, comprising 12 live education hours and at least three hours of applied mentor coaching practice

The six modules are:

1. Grounding Mentor Coaching Mastery in an Ethical Core

2. Tailoring Mentor Coaching Agreements to Each Coach’s Specific Needs

3. Mentoring the Whole Human Behind the Coach

4. Fierce Kindness in Mentoring Feedback

5. Strengths-Based Clarity in Written Feedback

6. Your Presence as a Group Mentor Coach

Participants are responsible for checking the corresponding time in their own location. Awaken will communicate any necessary schedule changes in writing.

2. The Heart of the Program

This program is for experienced coaches who wish to deepen the quality, courage, and humanity of their mentor coaching.

Our attention will be on developing brave, loving, and kind connections among ourselves and with the coaches we mentor. During the live conversations, participants will model the quality of connection they want to see flourishing in their own mentor coaching relationships.

The program is designed to support eligible PCC- and MCC-credentialed coaches who are pursuing or renewing the International Coaching Federation Mentor Coach Specialization (“MCS”) through the prior experience route.

3. Eligibility and Personal Responsibility

This program provides mentor coaching education that may form one part of a participant’s application for, or renewal of, the ICF Mentor Coach Specialization.

Completion of this program does not replace, shorten, or satisfy any other ICF eligibility or application requirements. Depending on the participant’s circumstances, those requirements may include holding an appropriate active ICF credential, completing applicable ICF evaluation training, demonstrating the required prior mentor coaching experience, providing evidence relating to mentor coaching clients, meeting applicable date requirements, and submitting the required application, documentation, and fees.

ICF requirements may change and may differ between an initial application and a renewal. Before enrolling and before submitting an application, each participant is responsible for reviewing the current ICF requirements, determining their own eligibility, and ensuring that they have completed all elements applicable to them.

Awaken does not assess or guarantee a participant’s eligibility for the MCS. A participant’s ineligibility, failure to meet another ICF requirement, or unsuccessful application does not entitle them to a refund except where applicable law requires otherwise.

4. Education Hours, Certificate, and Accreditation

The program provides 15 hours of mentor coaching education:

• 12 hours of live online learning; and

• At least three hours of applied mentor coaching practice outside class.

Participants who complete the graduation requirements will receive an Awaken Coach Institute certificate documenting these 15 education hours.

Earlier participants in Awaken’s faculty pilot have successfully used their certificates when applying for the ICF Mentor Coach Specialization through the prior experience route.

Awakening Love and Courage in Mentor Coaching is currently pending accreditation as part of Awaken’s previously accredited MCC in Community Level 3 program.

Accreditation decisions and individual MCS applications remain under the sole authority of the ICF. Awaken cannot guarantee the timing or outcome of the accreditation process or the acceptance of an individual application.

Completion of this program does not itself award the MCS or any other ICF credential, qualification, or designation. Participants are responsible for completing and paying for their own ICF application and any requirements outside this program.

5. Tuition and Payment

Tuition is:

• €1,000, or

• US$1,160

These are final prices, and no VAT will be added.

Participants may pay:

• In full at the time of enrolment; or

• In three instalments, with the first payment due at enrolment and the remaining two payments charged monthly thereafter.

By selecting an instalment plan, the participant commits to paying the full tuition. Choosing an instalment plan does not create a month-to-month enrolment.

If a scheduled payment is unsuccessful, Awaken will contact the participant and access to the program and course materials will be suspended until the payment is brought up to date.

A certificate will not be issued while tuition or other agreed program fees remain outstanding.

6. Cohort Size and Program Confirmation

The program requires a minimum of six participants and is limited to twelve participants.

Awaken will confirm by October 16, 2026 whether the minimum cohort size has been reached.

If Awaken does not proceed with the program, participants may choose either:

• A full refund of all program payments received; or

• A transfer of those payments to a future Awaken offering.

7. Live Participation and Missed Modules

We warmly encourage participants to attend every module live. The conversations, relationships, practice, and shared presence within the group are central to the learning experience.

If unforeseen circumstances prevent you from attending a module, you may receive credit for the missed module by:

1. Watching the complete session recording;

2. Completing the corresponding worksheet; and

3. Submitting a written reflection summarising your understanding of the session and explaining how you intend to apply the learning.

All make-up work must be received by December 22, 2026.

This make-up arrangement is subject to any additional attendance requirements established through the program’s pending accreditation process. If those requirements affect a participant’s ability to receive a certificate, Awaken will communicate this as soon as reasonably possible.

8. Applied Mentor Coaching Practice

Participants must complete at least three hours of mentor coaching outside class time.

This practice must include:

• At least one individual mentor coaching session;

• At least one group mentor coaching session involving two or more mentor coaching clients; and

• At least three client participations across the individual and group practice.

A client who participates in the individual session may also participate in the group session, but that person may be counted only once toward the requirement to mentor-coach at least three different individuals.

Participants are not expected to mentor-coach one another for this requirement. Practice sessions should be conducted with the participant’s own mentor coaching clients as part of their usual mentor coaching practice.

Sessions may follow the participant’s normal professional format and duration and will ordinarily last 60 or 90 minutes. If the required individual and group sessions do not total at least three hours, the participant must conduct sufficient additional mentor coaching practice to reach the three-hour minimum.

9. Self-Assessments

Participants must complete and submit two written self-assessments:

• One self-assessment reflecting on an individual mentor coaching session; and

• One self-assessment reflecting on a group mentor coaching session.

The self-assessments are intended to support thoughtful integration of the course learning. They should reflect on the participant’s presence, choices, use of the mentor coaching competencies, approach to feedback, learning, and opportunities for continued development.

Awaken will provide the self-assessment form and submission instructions.

Completion is based on engaged participation and completion of the required worksheets and self-assessments. There is no examination or formal competency assessment, and Awaken faculty will not review or assess recordings of the participant’s mentor coaching sessions.

10. Client Privacy and Session Recordings

Participants will submit written self-assessments of their mentor coaching sessions. Recordings and transcripts must not be submitted to Awaken or uploaded to Simplero.

Self-assessments must not include client names, contact details, confidential client information, or details that could reasonably identify an individual.

If a participant records a session for their own review, the recording remains under their control. The participant is responsible for:

• Informing everyone involved that the session will be recorded;

• Obtaining appropriate consent before recording;

• Explaining how the recording will be used;

• Storing it securely and limiting access;

• Complying with applicable privacy, data-protection, professional, and ethical obligations; and

• Deleting it when it is no longer needed for their self-assessment.

Awaken will not access, receive, review, or store participants’ practice-session recordings.

11. Practice Attestation

Through the course homework form, participants will attest that they have completed the applied mentor coaching requirements described in Section 8 and submitted both self-assessments described in Section 9.

Once these requirements have been fulfilled, an authorised Awaken representative will provide a signed letter confirming that the participant completed at least three hours of applied mentor coaching practice with at least three different individuals as part of the program.

12. Graduation Requirements

To receive an Awaken Coach Institute certificate documenting 15 education hours, participants must:

• Participate in all six modules, either live or through the approved make-up process;
• Complete the worksheet for each module;
• For any missed module, submit the required learning and application reflection;
• Complete at least three hours of mentor coaching outside class;
• Complete at least one individual mentor coaching session and one group mentor coaching session;
• Work with at least three different mentor coaching clients across those sessions;
• Submit one individual-session self-assessment and one group-session self-assessment; and
• Pay all tuition due.

All graduation requirements and make-up work must be submitted by December 22, 2026, unless Awaken approves an extension in writing.

A certificate will be issued after all graduation requirements have been completed and all tuition has been paid.

13. Class Recordings

Awaken records the live Zoom modules so enrolled participants can revisit the learning and complete approved make-up work.

Class recordings:

• Are available only to participants enrolled in this cohort and authorised Awaken faculty or staff;

• May not be copied, shared, published, or shown to anyone outside the program; and

• Will not be used for public marketing without separate express consent.

If you share something during a live module that you would prefer to have removed from the cohort recording, please contact Awaken at communitycare@awakencoaching.com within seven days of the session. Awaken will make reasonable efforts to edit the contribution before making or continuing to make the recording available.

Awaken cannot guarantee absolute confidentiality within a group environment, but every participant is required to respect the privacy of others.

Participants may not create their own class recordings, screenshots, transcripts, or AI-generated meeting notes without Awaken’s prior written permission and the appropriate consent of everyone involved.

14. Access to Simplero and Course Materials

Participants will receive access through Simplero to the course materials and available class recordings.

Access is intended to continue for the lifetime of the program while it remains hosted and supported by Awaken. Awaken cannot guarantee permanent or uninterrupted access if the program, learning platform, or business ceases operating or is materially changed.

Participants are encouraged to download any materials that Awaken makes available for download.

15. Group Facilitation Guide and Game

Participants will receive Awaken’s proprietary group facilitation guide and game—the process used by Awaken faculty to support the depth and quality of its group learning.

Participants may use the guide and game in their own individual or group mentor coaching practice, including with paying clients. Attribution to Awaken is not required when facilitating the process.

Awaken retains ownership of the original guide, game, written instructions, design, branding, and course materials. Participants may not copy, publish, sell, sublicense, distribute, or teach the materials as a standalone product or training program without Awaken’s prior written permission.

16. Withdrawal, Refunds, and Transfers

All requests to withdraw or transfer must be submitted in writing to communitycare@awakencoaching.com.

If Awaken receives an eligible cancellation request at least 21 calendar days before the program begins, the participant may choose either:

• A refund of the amount paid, less 20% of the total program tuition; or

• A transfer to a future Awaken offering, subject to availability.

A transferred enrolment must be used within two years of the original program start date.

Cancellations received fewer than 21 calendar days before the program begins are not eligible for a refund or transfer.

Participant substitutions or changes to registration require Awaken’s prior written approval and must be requested at least 21 calendar days before the program begins.

These terms do not limit any cancellation or refund right that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.

17. Our Shared Learning Environment

Awaken is committed to creating a brave, loving, respectful, and professionally responsible learning environment.

Participants agree to:

• Bring their presence and attention to the learning;

• Treat faculty, staff, clients, and fellow participants with care and respect;

• Give and receive feedback with honesty and kindness;

• Protect client and participant confidentiality;

• Support an inclusive environment free from harassment and discrimination;

• Comply with the ICF Code of Ethics where applicable;

• Complete course work honestly;

• Avoid conduct that substantially disrupts the learning environment; and

• Ask questions and request support when needed.

Awaken may respond to harmful or seriously disruptive conduct through a conversation, written warning, temporary suspension, or removal from the program.

For a serious or repeated breach, Awaken may remove a participant without providing a refund, subject to applicable law.

18. Confidentiality

The program may include personal reflection, practice, feedback, and discussion of professional experiences.

Participants agree not to disclose another participant’s personal stories, identifying information, or contributions outside the program without permission.

When discussing mentor coaching or coaching engagements, participants must protect client confidentiality and avoid sharing information that could reasonably identify a client.

Confidentiality may be limited where disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to address a serious safety or safeguarding concern.

19. Intellectual Property

Awaken retains ownership of its curriculum, recordings, worksheets, manuals, presentations, frameworks, branding, and other original course materials.

Participants receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use the materials for their own learning and professional practice, subject to the specific permission concerning the group facilitation guide and game.

Participants may apply the skills and learning from the program in their mentor coaching. They may not, without Awaken’s prior written permission:

• Copy or distribute course materials;

• Share access to Simplero or class recordings;

• Sell, publish, or license Awaken materials;

• Deliver Awaken’s curriculum as their own course;

• Remove copyright notices; or

• Use Awaken’s name or branding in a way that implies employment, faculty status, accreditation, partnership, or endorsement.

20. Technology

Participants are responsible for maintaining suitable internet access, equipment, and a private environment from which to participate.

Awaken uses reputable third-party services, including Zoom and Simplero, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

If a significant technical problem on Awaken’s side prevents delivery of a session, Awaken will provide a reasonable alternative, such as a rescheduled session or make-up arrangement.

21. Professional Responsibility and Results

This program provides professional education. It is not therapy, legal advice, financial advice, or a substitute for independent professional advice.

Participants remain responsible for their professional decisions, ethical obligations, business practices, client relationships, and application of the learning.

Awaken does not guarantee:

• Approval of an ICF application;

• The award or renewal of the MCS;

• Employment or faculty opportunities;

• A particular number of clients;

• Revenue or business results; or

• Any other particular professional outcome.

22. Concerns and Grievances

Awaken welcomes feedback and seeks to address concerns fairly and promptly.

Where appropriate, participants are encouraged to raise a concern directly with the person involved. If this does not feel appropriate or does not resolve the matter, the participant may contact Awaken at communitycare@awakencoaching.com.

Awaken will review the concern, communicate with the participant within a reasonable period, and work with the people involved toward an appropriate resolution.

23. Relationship with Awaken and the ICF

Enrolment does not create an employment, contractor, agency, partnership, or faculty relationship between the participant and Awaken.

Participants are free to provide mentor coaching through their own practices.

Participants may accurately describe their completion of the program but may not state or imply that they hold the MCS until it has been awarded by the ICF. They may not imply that Awaken or the ICF endorses their services.

The ICF is an independent organisation. Awaken does not control changes to ICF requirements, terminology, policies, fees, application procedures, or decisions.

24. General Terms

This agreement, together with the order form, payment selection, privacy notice, and any documents expressly incorporated into it, forms the agreement between the participant and Awaken concerning this program.

If one provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply in the participant’s place of residence.

The appropriate dispute-resolution and court-jurisdiction provision should be confirmed by Awaken’s legal adviser.

25. Participant Acknowledgement

By accepting this agreement, I confirm that:

• I have read and understood the Participant Enrollment Agreement;

• My eligibility declarations are accurate;

• I understand the attendance, practice, and graduation requirements;

• I understand that no client recordings will be submitted to Awaken;

• I will protect client confidentiality and exclude identifying information from my self-assessments;

• I understand that completing the program does not guarantee that the ICF will award or renew my MCS;

• I accept responsibility for confirming and satisfying the ICF requirements applicable to me;

• I understand the tuition, instalment, cancellation, transfer, and refund policies;

• I will respect the conduct, confidentiality, and intellectual-property commitments described above; and

• I have had an opportunity to ask questions before enrolling.
