S2 E3 The Fawn Response: Trauma, Shame, and Reclaiming Self-Trust with Ingrid Clayton

April 22 · 50 mins 8 secs
Show notes

Every labyrinth has a Minotaur at its center.

In this episode, Christi sits down with psychologist and author Ingrid Clayton to explore the fawn response, complex trauma, and the reclamation of self-trust. Together they unpack how chronic people-pleasing lives in the nervous system, how shame keeps it hidden, and how real healing begins when safety is restored inside our own bodies.

Meeting what we have been avoiding is not a detour from the Path. For so many of us, it is the Path. And one of the great gifts of a brave community is that we do not have to meet the Minotaur alone. Love has been holding us in the center of it all along.
